Inspired by the art of origami, the Coste table collection is an ode to the technique of folding metal. The conical trunk at the centre is composed of the juxtaposition inherent to a folded module, whose 'ribbing’ generates a series of isosceles triangles. The different oxidation tones attributed to its faces create the light-dark contrast of chiaroscuro, which accentuates the varied shapes and verticality of the base. The result is the sensation that the circular top is resting on the pointed tips of a crown.
