While industrial manufacturing processes and their architecture are a source of inspiration to generate a construction detail that the aluminum base structure is developed from, an analysis of the different manners in which people sit down, including both improvised and informal ways, helps to define the collection´s overall geometry. Docks is a modular, open and flexible furniture collection that takes into account the links between the pieces and interaction with the human body, resulting in an unequivocal sense of balance. Cushions and supports are placed over a light, stackable and easily transportable aluminum structure to create more complex sofas, beds and rest areas.
