Aldebaran Sofa

Design Gabriele & Oscar Buratti
2026

In the Aldebaran sofa, softness is first expressed through its design: a system of rounded forms, free of sharp edges, where every curved line contributes to creating a welcoming image that is immediately perceived as comfortable. The curve is not merely a formal feature, but becomes a design tool that encourages conviviality: the curved elements guide the arrangement of the seating, bringing people’s lines of sight closer together and fostering a more direct, intimate and spontaneous interaction among those seated on the sofa. The collection consists of linear modules and curved elements that can be freely combined. The stitching follows the profile of the sofa, emphasising its construction, while the large, informal cushions rest freely against the backrests, enhancing the overall sense of comfort.
